Horst and Holger wanted to be the first pilots to fly in Uruguay within our new project. They did it! Our ten day tour of Uruguay took us to the sophisticated Punta del Este, to the agricultural pilots at Santos Servicios Aereos in Tacuarembó, to German pilots in Salto, to Paysandú where we were given a tour of the propeller workshop, to Frey Bentos to one of four UNESCO World Heritage sites, to wine bodegas in Carmelo, to the project base in Colonia del Sacramento and of course to Montevideo, the country’s capital.
Horst successfully wrote his test in aviation law at the aviation authority. That way he can explore other destinations next season with our C182. With the Uruguayan validation of its license, that’s not a problem. Here are some impressions of our tour:
