We used the past few months to upgrade our project aircraft. At first Martin took care of the upholstery and seat covers for all seats. New door panels and a new carpet were put in during the local winter. A successful project. Thanks to Martin!
In November we started the next upgrade. The original avionics needed trouble-shooting at times, so we decided to completely renew the communication and navigation equipments. The first check flight after extensive work and twelve kilos less weight due to the removal of unnecessary cables and lighter new devices, the transponder unfortunately caused problems. We had to wait for a replacement device whose transport was quite delayed due to the snowstorms in the US. Since this week we finally have her again, our beautiful Cessna C182.
